1. Digital Products and Downloadable Content
1.1 Photography Tutorials, E-books, and Presets
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of digital downloads including photography tutorials, e-books, preset collections, and other digital content are final and non-refundable unless:
- The product is demonstrably defective or corrupted
- The product significantly fails to meet the description provided at the time of purchase
- You have been unable to access or download the product due to technical issues on our end
If you experience any of these issues, please contact us within 7 days of purchase at [email protected] with your order details and a description of the problem.
We reserve the right to offer a replacement, fix the issue, or issue a full refund at our discretion after verifying the problem.
1.2 Online Courses and Membership Subscriptions
For online courses and membership subscriptions:
- 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your online course purchase, you may request a refund within 30 days of the purchase date, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course content.
- Membership Subscriptions: Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time, but we do not provide refunds for partial months. Annual memberships may be eligible for a prorated refund if canceled within 14 days of purchase.

2. Physical Products
2.1 Printed Materials and Merchandise
For physical products such as printed photographs, books, and merchandise:
- Return Period: You may return items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund.
- Return Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition that you received them.
- Return Shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was received damaged or defective.
- Custom or Personalized Items: Custom or personalized items cannot be returned unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.
2.2 Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage
- We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
- We may require the return of the damaged item (at our expense) before processing a replacement or refund
3. Photography Services
3.1 Deposits and Booking Fees
For photography services that require booking:
- Booking Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable as they secure your booking date, which prevents us from booking other clients for that time.
- Cancellations:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled session: You will not receive a refund of your deposit, but you may reschedule once without penalty, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made 15-30 days before the scheduled session: 50% of the total fee is due.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before the scheduled session: 100% of the total fee is due.
3.2 Weather-Related Cancellations
For outdoor photography sessions that are canceled due to inclement weather:
- Either party may reschedule without penalty if weather conditions would significantly impact the quality of the photographs
- The decision to reschedule due to weather must be made at least 3 hours before the scheduled session time
3.3 Satisfaction Guarantee
We are committed to your satisfaction with our photography services:
- If you are not satisfied with the quality of your photographs for technical reasons (exposure, focus, composition), we will offer a complimentary reshoot or partial refund at our discretion.
- Stylistic preferences (such as poses, expressions, or editing style) are not grounds for a refund, as samples of our work are provided before booking.
- Any issues with the final deliverables must be reported within 14 days of delivery.
4. Workshops and In-Person Events
4.1 Cancellation by Participant
For photography workshops and in-person events:
- More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus a 10% administration fee
- 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days before the event: No refund
- Transfer Option: You may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost by notifying us in writing.
4.2 Cancellation by HarborMeadow
If we need to cancel a workshop or event:
- You will receive a full refund of all fees paid
- Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your registration to another date or event of equal value
- We are not responsible for reimbursement of travel expenses or other costs incurred beyond the workshop registration fee
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report an issue with your purchase:

- Include your order number, date of purchase, and a detailed explanation of your request
- For damaged physical items, include photos of the damage
- We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days
6. Refund Processing
When a refund is approved:

- Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider
- For credit card purchases, refunds may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your statement
- If the original payment method is unavailable, we may issue the refund via an alternative method at our discretion
